Dr. Tejas V. Ozarkar, MD, is an Ivy League trained, double board-certified physician with expertise in interventional pain management and physical medicine/rehabilitation. His primary practice areas focus on treating patients with neck, back, joint pain and chronic inflammation. Dr. Ozarkar’s approach to treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal and pain disorders is conservative: he lays out conventional and out of the box options to address the problem. Dr. Ozarkar’s primary focus is creating a partnership with patients and serving as a guide to navigate treatment.

Dr. Ozarkar received his undergraduate education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where he studied accounting and biology before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. Dr. Ozarkar continued his medical training with a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He returned to his alma mater to complete an Anesthesia Pain Management Fellowship with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ozarkar has been published in the PM&R Journal and has had the opportunity to present his research to the Texas Pain Society and various other conferences and symposiums. Dr Ozarkar belongs to several professional societies and maintains an active role in his county medical society. Dr. Ozarkar has also been retained as a medical expert witness in various legal cases involving large companies such as Amazon, International Paper, Federal Express and Home Depot.

Dr Ozarkar is proficient in landmark, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic injections of the entire spine and peripheral joints. He has done thousands of needle-based procedures. He is also proficient in neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation trials, and full implants), dry needling, and electromyography.

Dr. Ozarkar is double-board certified in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas (USA) and the Cayman Islands.
